Chinese acupuncture treatments

I offer a range of Chinese acupuncture and Reiki treatments from the comfort of my own home in Nottingham. More importantly, my fully insured clinic room has been fully vetted and approved from Ashfield District Council.

  • Chinese acupuncture

I use traditional Chinese techniques when performing acupuncture. Specific acupuncture needles are used to stimulate meridian points along your body.

  • Acupressure massage using Tuina and Guasha methods

Acupressure massage is a Chinese therapy where hands, thumbs, palms and elbows along with traditional implements are used to apply pressure to stimulate the body's meridian points. I use Guasha and Tuina acupressure methods as part of the treatment.

  • Reiki

This treatments helps to re-energise and relax the body through the movement of Qi energy. Warmed hands are placed over certain points of the meridian points.

  • Cupping

These are little vacuum seal cups, placed onto the skin to stimulate blood flow and clear your stagnant Qi energy.

  • Moxibustion Heat

Heat is a great source of healing. Heat is applied to an acupuncture point or meridian using a Moxa stick or heat lamps to warm and relax your muscles.

How can Chinese acupuncture treatments help you?
Firstly, Chinese acupuncture can support pain relief for shoulders, back, leg and hip pain. Secondly, it’s doesn’t just treat physical aliments, it can also help mental health. Some of my clients use acupuncture to find balance when dealing with anxiety or stress related challenges.

We work together to find a treatment that will help clients to feel calmer, more relaxed and above all  balanced. I do this by  stimulating certain  meridian points across the body. Subsequently, clients can feel a little tired or sleepy after the treatment. I advise clients to take time to relax and drink plant of water after you’ve finished a treatment.  To sum up, acupuncture has very few side effects. Any that do occur are often mild and and should be self-correcting.
